This is Lewis’s Bank, the department store banking service which is owned by Martins for nine years from 1958 to 1967.  Thanks to Martins Bank Magazine and former Lewis’s Staff, we have a number of precious images of this curious enterprise. We have branches in every one of Lewis’s Department Stores up and down the land, with children’s counters, long weekday hours and Saturday afternoon opening.  Please feel free to browse our departments and branches below without obligation to buy!

Please do not confuse the branches of Lewis’s Department Stores and

Lewis’s Bank with the John Lewis Partnership – they are not the same company at all.
