| There is not
much information to be had regarding martins Bank’s sub-Branch at
Leadgate.  It comes to the Bank through
the amalgamation of the North Eastern Banking Company and the Bank of
Liverpool in 1914, and survives until 1949, when it is closed by
  Martins.  Reference to street
directories (as above, left), shows the address as either Front Street or St
Ives Road Leadgate, no details of opening hours are recorded, and there is no
telephone directory entry for the branch.
Time for our visitors to turn detective once more please, as we have no image of the branch. So if you can help
either with images or information about this or indeed ANY of Martins Bank’s
980+ Branches down the years, please do get in touch with us at the usual
  address: martinsbankarchive@btinternet.com.
